Ma saison préférée ("fill in the vowels" example)

Below is another example of an embedded textivate activity (textivity?). This example is based on a short French text about weather and seasons, and it demonstrates the "No vowels" activity, which is accessed via the following button on the textivate menu page:

The student is required to click and type in the missing vowels.

You can access the front page for this text here: http://www.textivate.com/2lcjn1 and the menu screen for this text here: http://www.textivate.com/menu-2lcjn1

Click below to access the activity. (Opens in a new window on touch devices.)
Click here to open the above activity in a new window.

Before you start clicking, you'll see that you have some info in the bottom left of the exercise: 0/142 means that you have entered 0 out of 142 letters required to complete the exercise. Once you start clicking, you'll also see a percentage score, which tells you what percentage of your attempts have been correct.

If you're stuck on a letter, you can click on the 'Hint?' button, but this affects your percentage score (and besides, you've only got 5 letters to choose from with the vowels exercise...). With this exercise you don't need to type accented characters, and answers are not case-sensitive, so E counts for EeÉéÊê... etc.

Hope this is useful :0)
